ILT20 2026 Schedule Revealed, Tournament Set to Kick Off on December 2

The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has unveiled the complete schedule for the International League T20 (ILT20) 2026, with the final set to take place on January 4, 2026. This marks the fourth edition of the UAE-based franchise tournament.

ILT20: Six teams—Dubai Capitals, Desert Vipers, Sharjah Warriorz, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Gulf Giants, and MI Emirates—will compete for the coveted title. Defending champions Dubai Capitals will play the season opener against Desert Vipers on December 2, 2025.

Matches will be held across three venues: Dubai International Stadium, Zayed Cricket Stadium, and Sharjah Cricket Stadium. ILT20, The tournament will feature four double-header days on December 7, 14, 20, and 21.

ILT20: Traditionally played in January–February, this year’s ILT20 has been scheduled earlier to avoid a clash with the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, slated for February–March in India and Sri Lanka.

Another major change for this season is the introduction of an auction system to replace the draft format used in the previous three editions. The player auction will be held in Dubai on September 30, 2025.
