Bangladesh and Afghanistan are set to face off in a three-match ODI series in Abu Dhabi.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced its squad for the upcoming series against Afghanistan, scheduled from October 8 to 14 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. The ODIs will follow the ongoing three-match T20I series between the two nations.
Right-handed batter Saif Hassan has received his maiden ODI call-up after featuring in six Tests and 14 T20Is. Nurul Hasan has also returned to the ODI setup after a two-year absence, both earning their spots following impressive performances in the Asia Cup 2025.
However, senior batter Litton Das has been ruled out as he continues to recover from a side strain sustained during the Asia Cup. Parvez Hossain Emon has not been included in the squad. All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz will captain the 16-member Bangladesh squad for the ODI series against Afghanistan.
