The Indian Cricket Team is placed in Group A for the Asia Cup 2025, set to begin on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Just days before the tournament, India unveiled their new jersey, which notably features no lead sponsor.
This comes after Dream11 withdrew its sponsorship following the Government of India’s introduction of the Online Gaming Act 2025, which bans online money-based games and enforces strict penalties for promoting or advertising them.
With Dream11 stepping away, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already begun the search for a new lead sponsor.
India will kick off their Asia Cup campaign against hosts UAE on September 10 in Dubai, one day after the tournament opener between Afghanistan and Hong Kong on September 9.
Indian Cricket Team’s Asia Cup 2025 Jersey Revealed

The Indian cricket team’s jersey for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 has unofficially surfaced online. While the BCCI has yet to formally unveil it, all-rounder Shivam Dube gave fans a first look by sharing a photo of himself in the new kit on Instagram.
Cricket: The design remains identical to the one worn during India’s T20I series against England earlier this year, with one notable change—the Dream11 sponsor logo is absent. The jersey now features the Asia Cup 2025 emblem alongside the BCCI crest.
The Men in Blue are currently training in Dubai ahead of the continental tournament. Suryakumar Yadav will captain the side as India competes in Group A against UAE, Pakistan, and Oman.
Group B comprises Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong. Matches will be played across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with the grand final scheduled for September 28.
