Asia Cup: ICC T20 World Cup is starting from 9 September
Asia Cup: Cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025. However, a big news is coming out before the tournament starting in UAE from 9 September. Let us tell you that due to the scorching heat in the month of September in UAE, the timing of 18 out of 19 matches has been changed.

With the new change, the matches which were to start at 7.30 pm Indian time, will now start at 6.30 pm local time (8 pm Indian time). All these matches will be played at UAE Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The heat is believed to be the reason for the change in the timing of the matches of the tournament. It is being told that the temperature in the stadium is likely to be 40 degrees during these matches. Due to this, all the cricket boards had requested the organizers and broadcasters to delay the matches a little, which has now been accepted.
18 out of the 19 matches to be played between 9 and 28 September will start at 8 pm, while one match will be played between UAE and Oman. It will be held as per the pre-decided time, as it is a day match. In the tournament played between 8 countries, the Indian cricket team will be seen defending its title.
High voltage match between India and Pakistan on 14 September
It is worth noting that this time the Asia Cup is being organized in T20 format keeping in mind the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026. 8 teams have been divided into two groups of four each. Group A includes India, UAE, Pakistan and Oman. On the other hand, Group B includes powerhouse Afghanistan, giant killer Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong.
The first match will be played between Afghanistan and Hong Kong. So, Team India will start its title campaign with a match against UAE on Wednesday, 10 September. After this, the much-awaited match between India and Pakistan will be played in Dubai on 14 September.
