RCB vs RR Match Result: The caravan of IPL 2025 continues. The second half of the league stage has come to an end. In this episode, the 42nd match of the season was played yesterday i.e. on Thursday. In this match, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals clashed at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, in which RR had to face defeat by 11 runs. RCB played first and scored 205/5 in 20 overs, in response to which Rajasthan scored 194/9 after playing the entire over. RCB fast bowler Josh Hazlewood (4/33) was adjudged the Player of the Match.
Rajasthan Royals’ top order flopped again
In this match held in Bengaluru, the fans got a chance to enjoy fours and sixes fiercely. However, the Rajasthan Royals team once again performed contrary to the expectations of the fans. Chasing the target of 206 runs, Rajasthan Royals had a great start. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi added 52 runs for the first wicket. As long as both the batsmen were at the crease, it seemed that the RR team would win the match easily. But after the wickets of both of them fell, RCB strengthened their grip on the match.
Nitish Rana and Riyan Parag disappointed once again, but Dhruv Jurel played an innings of 47 runs and took the team to the threshold but could not finish the match. Josh Hazlewood turned the tables of the match in the 19th over, in which he took two wickets for just 1 run.
Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings
Earlier, Bangalore, who came out to bat after losing the toss, had a great start. The pair of Virat Kohli and Will Jacks added 61 runs for the first wicket. Kohli continued his amazing form and played an important innings of 70 runs in just 42 balls. Apart from him, Devdutt Padikkal played a blazing innings of 50 runs in 27 balls. This is RCB’s sixth win in the tournament. With this win, RCB has now reached the third position in the points table. Whereas, RR is at the eighth position.
