IPL 2025: MI Captain Hardik Pandya Fined for Slow Over-Rate Violation After GT vs MI Match

Hardik Pandya has already missed a game in this IPL due to an over-rate offense. The Mumbai Indians (MI) captain was fined for his team’s slow over-rate in their IPL 2025 match against the Gujarat Titans (GT) on Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

In Match 9 of IPL 2025, Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj led GT to a commanding 36-run victory over MI, handing the visitors their second loss of the season.

Hardik had previously been suspended for a similar offense in MI’s IPL 2024 match against the Lucknow Super Giants, which resulted in him missing the season opener against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Without him, the five-time champions struggled, falling to CSK by four wickets after failing to post a competitive total.
