Parth Jindal Shares Insight Into Rahul’s Excitement for Joining Delhi Capitals
Parth Jindal, in an interview with ESPNcricinfo, revealed how excited KL Rahul was to join Delhi Capitals. Rahul expressed his eagerness to play cricket for the team, seeking both the love and respect from the franchise. “I just want to get the love and support from the franchise. I know from you (Parth), I’ll get that. I just can’t be more excited to play for a friend and help Delhi win. I’ve never won the IPL, and Delhi has never won. Let’s do it together,” Jindal shared.
He further explained his connection with Rahul, highlighting their long-standing friendship. “He’s very happy, very excited to be part of Delhi. He’s a Bengaluru boy. I own Bengaluru FC, so he’s watched a few games with me. I also know his wife, Athiya Shetty, really well, as she’s been a close family friend from our Mumbai days,” Jindal added.
