Incredible moments when a batter has hit six consecutive sixes in an over. All these instances are registered in white-ball formats of the game. Thrice in T20 internationals and twice in ODIs. Here we will talk briefly about all five occasions when a batter has hit 6 sixes in one over.
5. Herschelle Gibbs vs Netherlands, 2007 (ODI)
Former South African superstar Herschelle Gibbs was the first batter to do this in international cricket; overall, he was the third one after Gary Sobers and Ravi Shastri (these two did it in domestic cricket). Gibbs did it during the ICC 2007 Cricket World Cup against the Netherlands. He scored a 40-ball 72, which included seven sixes. Six of them came in an over against DLS van Bunge, and South Africa won that game by 221 runs.

A true fan of cricket can never forget the iconic innings by Yuvraj Singh against England in the ICC T20 World Cup 2007 when he smashed a 12-ball fifty. He took all the English bowlers to the cleaners, but Stuart Broad had a nightmare. It was the 19th over of the innings, and Yuvraj, who had an ugly exchange with Andrew Flintoff just before the over, smashed Broad for 6 sixes in an over to complete a 12-ball fifty. India won by 18 runs and moved further.

3. Kieron Pollard vs Sri Lanka, 2021 (T20I)
Kieron Pollard, who is known for his power, also features on this elite list. He achieved the feat in a T20I against Sri Lanka in Coolidge in 2021. West Indies were chasing 132 runs. Pollard hit Akila Dhanjaya for six consecutive sixes in an over to create history and became only the second batter to do so in T20Is. Notably, Dhanajay took a hat-trick in his previous over, so it was a mixed game for him, and West Indies won it comfortably.
