Mushfiqur Rahim was born on 9 May 1987 in Bogra, Bangladesh. He is a professional cricketer from Bangladesh and plays as a right-handed batsman. Mushfiqur is considered one of the best Bangladeshi batsmen of all time. Before joining the national team, he played for the Bangladesh Under-19 team. He was the captain of the Bangladesh team during the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup, held in Sri Lanka in February.
International Career
Mushfiqur Rahim began his international cricket career in 2005 when he played against England at the age of 16.
He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Bangladesh on August 6, 2006, against Zimbabwe. Three months later, he played his first T20 International match, also against Zimbabwe.
